Falklands: FCO record of conversation (Pym-Senate Foreign Relations Committee) ("Secretary of State's visit to Washington: Falkland Islands") [declassified Dec 2012]

Document type: Declassified documents
Source: FCO7/4530 f35
Editorial comments:

Despite the dating of 23 April a separate telegram account was sent at 0150Z 23 April, suggesting that the meeting actually took place on 22 April.

Stephen Wall's covering letter refers to records of Pym's meetings with Haig on 23 April. These have not been found in files available at Kew. Nor have accounts of the meetings surfaced in telegrams from UKE Washington, putting in doubt the annotated comment on Wall's letter.
