| Editorial comments: | This paper would appear to be a fragment of the daily intelligence briefing which was provided to the Chiefs of Staff Committee, a version of which was circulated as the MOD's daily intelligence summary, an INTSUM. Most remain classified. On 31 May the Chiefs did not meet. In their place the Defence Operations Executive held its 10th meeting. It may then have been the recipient of the briefing, if such it was. |
