Editorial comments: | These might be Haig's notes in preparation for, or made during, the National Security Planning Group which met in the White House Situation Room on 5 April 1982 1130-1211 EST (1630-1711Z). There appears to be a reference to 6.30AM in the text as the time (in EST) of Lord Carrington's resignation.
