Falklands: State Department record of conversation (MT, Haig and others) [Haig on the Junta: "The air force is fearful, the army is moderate, and the navy wants a fight"] [published 2015]

The notes are dated as if covering two days of talks, but comparison with British records suggest they relate only to the very first meeting on 12 Apr. No other record has been found of these conversations on the US side, perhaps the result of exhaustion on the part of Haig's team.
