Editorial comments: | Ingham's original briefing for the interview, written on 25 Oct, was overtaken by Lawson's resignation the following day. But updated briefing did not reach MT in time. Note that Woodrow Wyatt's diary records that he exchanged messages between MT and Walden in advance of the interview, so she was not completely in the dark as to Walden's line of questioning.
