An unsigned note attached to a copy of this correspondence and dated 4 Nov 1985 in THCR 2/6/3/128 part 2 f3 reads: “Bernard Ingham, Nigel Wicks and Michael Alison discussed the attached. The Prime Minister is not keen to proceed with this at present. Keep on file in case anything comes up again. ” |
