Sunday 15th November 1981

Writing speech at Chequers for Guildhall.

PM very tired and irate - esp. with me for opposing the view that because all countries were putting into action policies like ours we should not follow them blindly.

Bacon and eggs working supper.

LATER returned to my desk and found gems there.
