Copied without annotation on Nott's Private Office file DEFE13/1508 f227. Elsewhere in this file (f205) there is a minute from Lewin to Nott explaining the origin of the notes. "1. After OD(SA) met last Saturday (24th) I jotted down some comments on the 'withdrawal' paragraph, which I attach. 2. I believe these should be fed into any commentary on the proposals that may be made to your Cabinet colleagues".
