"The one cannot exist without the other. You would not have a free press unless it were a free country. It could not stay a free country unless we had a free press. This is absolutely fundamental to everything in which we believe. I think we have a splendid editor [Dennis Signy] and staff, and how very welcome your reporters and photographers are on every occasion that they go out and about". |
