"My six year-old twins always managed to get the coins out of their money boxes or to break them open", Mrs Thatcher told me. "So each now has a savings box which cannot possibly be opened by anybody but the banking authorities. I think it is essential that parents should save for their children and encourage the young ones to do so themselves". |
